THQ Studio Montréal is a game development studio based in Montréal, Canada. Founded by THQ Inc., it was announced on 19th October 2010 and to be headed by Patrice Désilets starting in the summer of 2011. He was formerly with Ubisoft. Ubisoft filed suit to prevent him from working for THQ, but in December 2011 an appeals court for Quebec overturned that injunction, finding that THQ's pursuit of former Ubisoft employees was not bound by any non-compete clauses in their contracts.

The studio contributed to the development of Homefront (2011) and Darksiders II (2012). Following the closure of parent company THQ in January 2013, the studio was sold to Ubisoft. The acquisition also included the game 1666 (first revealed through a trademark in March 2012) and the previously unannounced game Underdog.
